Accountant, Corporate Accounting

• Compile monthly/periodic reports from information calculated or obtained from CMCO's various ERP systems.

• Assist with month-end close including journal entry preparation from various data sources.

• Prepare and provide audit support documentation and respond to internal and external auditor requests.

• Analyzes data and prepares monthly account reconciliations to ensure data accuracy and compliance to company policies.

• Reconcile intercompany accounts and process transactions between subsidiaries to ensure accurate consolidation

• Analyze expense variances against budget/forecast, identifying potential risks and opportunities for cost reduction.

• Participate in CMCO's global consolidation process.

• Participate in CMCO's SEC reporting requirements.

• Provides financial support and recommendations to other departments.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP.

• Proficient in Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint software.

• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to management and other employees of the organization.

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in accounting or related field required.

• Familiarity with financial reporting and/or consolidation systems.

• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) preferred.

$65,250 - $78,300 per year

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in incentive plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
