JOB DESCRIPTION:

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Grant Coordinator provides coordination, development, organization, and management of assigned program areas as assigned. This includes performing direct client and/or community services as necessary to meet program service obligations, assuring compliance with contracts, grants, standards, regulations, and laws and works with other Management staff to ensure the financial viability of assigned service areas. Plans collaborative events with system partners, oversees planning and reporting of all grant activities. The Grant Coordinator is required to use independence (or works under the direction of supervisor) when performing job tasks/providing services. As part of Centerstone's team-oriented philosophy, the Grant Coordinator is expected to actively participate in variety of cross-functional teams and performance improvement initiatives

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Effectively uses written, verbal, and non-verbal communications to communicate ideas, information to staff, stakeholders, team members, other employees, and clients.
  • Develop collaborative relationships with other departments, services, stakeholders and community health care agencies to facilitate and support wellness and quality care
  • Demonstrates an ability to effectively use automated/electronic systems, including automated documentation systems, utilizing computer and keyboarding experience and skills or the ability to develop such skills within required timeframes in order to meet the level of proficiency set by the agency.
  • Maintain budget targets and ensure grant deliverables are met
  • Collect data and submit all required grant reports timely and accurately
  • Maintains confidentiality of clients as well as any and all information considered sensitive to Centerstone operations.
  • When requested by Centerstone, participates in community and/or CENTERSTONE events to educate community members on issues of mental health, personal growth, and substance use, as well as the availability of prevention and personal growth resources.

  • Skill in establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships with clients and staff

QUALIFICATIONS

Education Level

Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Public Health, Education, or related field with five years relevant professional work experience, Master's degree and supervisory experience preferred
Years of Experience

Minimum of one (1) year in a social service setting is required.

$46,000.00--$64,470.00
