*At Securian Financial the internal position title is Data Science Consultant.* Position Overview As a Data Science Consultant at Securian Financial, you will develop data-driven solutions leveraging state-of-the-art practices and tools to help drive business outcomes that align with Securian's Enterprise Data Strategy Vision and Operating Principles. You'll partner with stakeholders across the enterprise to understand business goals, develop strategy for how data and data science may help accomplish these goals and add value, then work to execute these strategies. You may lead cross-functional teams to develop, build, and implement solutions and apply a variety of analysis, visualization, and modeling techniques to address them. In this role, you will assist and participate in team activities such as code and solution reviews and serve as a technical thought leader. Using tools like Python, Github, and AWS Sagemaker, you will partner with other data, technology, and business teams to develop, test, and deploy solutions.
