The Specialist contributes across content production, editorial coordination, and community engagement - operating with the seasoned judgment to make sound day-to-day decisions independently.
This role is well suited to someone with a strong social media background who can step in quickly, hold a high standard of quality, and operate with limited ramp-up time.

  • Significant professional experience producing and managing content for institutional or brand social media channels.
  • Strong editorial judgment and the ability to make sound day-to-day decisions about content, tone, and timing with limited supervision.
  • Excellent copywriting skills and a track record of writing in a defined institutional or brand voice.
  • Working knowledge of design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, or Figma.
  • Experience managing community engagement on social platforms.
  • Familiarity with social media management platforms such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or similar.
  • Ability to ramp up quickly, work independently, and operate effectively in a transitional environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in higher education, a research institution, or a comparably complex organization.
