Job Description Summary

The Senior Manager, Global Operations PMO is responsible for coordinating the Quality & Operations Program Management Office, supporting the Quality & Operations Leadership Team (QOLT) with their strategic portfolios, aligning progress & key decisions, and managing critical programs as required.

This position reports to the Head of Strategy and Operational Transformation and will support key strategic objectives for continued growth and innovation in the Quality & Operations organization. The individual will be expected to show high drive and leadership skills, while getting exposure to Keenova Senior Leadership. At times, the Senior Manager will be facilitating specific strategic initiatives and collaborating with functional leaders beyond the Quality & Operations group.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Operations PMO:

  • Coordinate the overall Quality & Operations PMO, ensuring priorities are always set and strategic program status and risks get reported regularly and accurately to the QOLT.
  • Ensure each program is correctly set up, that the leads drive regular project reviews, report status, and resolve upcoming issues/risks.
  • Sustain and optimize the appropriate system(s) and tool(s) to monitor all strategic programs (e.g., Smartsheet) and ensure their proper roll out across the organization.
  • Support the annual preparation of the Quality & Operations program portfolios, including prioritization & budgeting, aligned with the Brands Planning inputs by the Strategic Product Leads (SPLs).
  • Help prepare the monthly/quarterly program review with the QOLT.

Brands Planning

  • Ensure appropriate inputs from Quality & Operations into the yearly strategic planning for each Brands and support the Strategic Product Leads as needed.
  • Facilitate the monthly Strategic Product Review (non-Acthar), coordinating inputs from Strategic Product Leads and other functional leaders.
  • Support the onboarding and best practice sharing across the Strategic Product Leads, as needed.

Project Manager Community of Practice

  • Orchestrate the Project Manager Community of Practice within Quality & Operations, standardizing onboarding mechanisms, facilitating best practice sharing sessions, improving on shared platforms and tools, as well as networking with other project managers across the company.
  • Sustain a set of PMO tools and overall guidelines to support project managers across Quality & Operations. Ensure expected standards are followed.
  • Drive improvements and optimization activities in program management governance and reporting processes.
  • Ensure adequate capabilities are in place for project managers and other project leads, and expected standards are followed.

Quality & Operations Governance

  • Support the QOLT in creating yearly goals and preparing the cascade across the Quality & Operations organization.
  • Document and sustain the standard governance of performance meetings followed by the Quality & Organization and codify how projects are reviewed as part of this governance.

Strategic program delivery

  • Support the QOLT with preparing, planning or facilitating specific strategic programs, as required, in order to deliver on critical objectives. This may include identification of new opportunities, diagnostic, divestiture, integration, BD&L, launch program, etc.

Qualifications:

Education / Experience -

  • BS degree required in a technical or business discipline. Graduate degree preferred.
  • 6 years' experience in an operations organization, ideally pharmaceutical, with 3 years' experience leading cross-functional programs.
  • Knowledge of cGMPs and other compliance requirements governing pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Expertise in project management (certification a plus) and in using associated tools.
  • Hands-on experience in project management digital tools & systems (e.g., Smartsheet), demonstrating the ability to optimize them and make them fit for purpose.
  • Proven ability to navigate across multiple global functions and set up effective interfaces, for example in a product launch or corporate transformation context.
  • Operational Excellence Experience or Six Sigma Green Belt certification a plus.

  • Skilled in problem identification and solving, including ability to negotiate and influence.
  • Coaching and training others, in a matrix environment.

Organizational Relationship/Scope:

Frequent communication and working relationships with manufacturing sites, external supply teams, technology teams, quality group and all other functions within the Quality & Operation group. This extends at times to other functions critical to the Brands Team model and Strategic Planning (R&D, Commercial, Regulatory Affairs, Finance, Procurement, BD&L).

Position reports to the Head of Strategy and Operational Transformation.

Working Conditions:

Normal office conditions. Hybrid model (3-day in office).

Travel required (25 - 30%) - both domestic and international

The expected base pay range for this position is $144K - $185K. Please note that base pay offered may vary depending on factors including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

This position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable program. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion
