The Construction Manager is responsible for leading field execution on complex construction, demolition, and remediation projects. This role establishes clear expectations for Weston personnel, subcontractors, and supporting contractors related to scheduling, installation, testing, and overall project delivery.

Serving as the senior field leader, the Construction Manager oversees day-to-day site operations and may function as the on-site Project Manager, with full responsibility for field execution, coordination, and performance against project scope, schedule, budget, and safety requirements. This individual ensures work is performed in accordance with contract documents while maintaining strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.

Locations: Nationwide and OCONUS

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 15 years of experience, or equivalent experience, in construction management supporting demolition and/or environmental remediation projects
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply demolition and remediation contract documents, including plans, specifications, and technical requirements
  • Strong working knowledge of demolition and remediation methods, techniques, and best practices
  • OSHA 30-hour Construction certification required; additional safety credentials preferred (e.g., 40-hour HAZWOPER or equivalent)
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
  • Experience supporting safety programs and USACE Quality Control processes preferred
  • Proven ability to lead field teams and manage subcontractor performance on complex job sites
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Experience overseeing electrical scope of work is preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all on-site construction activities, including coordination of Weston personnel, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Establish and enforce expectations for safety, quality, schedule, and productivity across the field team
  • Manage daily site operations, including planning, scheduling, and sequencing of work activities
  • Direct subcontractor execution, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, safety standards, and quality expectations
  • Monitor project progress and proactively identify risks, constraints, and corrective actions
  • Prepare and review daily reports, field documentation, and progress updates for internal and client stakeholders
  • Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for client representatives, building and maintaining strong working relationships
  • Coordinate with project leadership to support cost control, schedule adherence, and overall project performance
  • Support proposal development efforts by providing input on scope, labor estimates, equipment needs, and constructability
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, health, and environmental requirements

  • Maintain control of field operations, including schedule, productivity, and field budget performance
  • Ensure alignment between field execution and project scope, schedule, and contractual requirements
  • Deliver accurate and timely reporting on site activities and project status
  • Foster collaboration across Weston teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure continuity and successful project delivery
  • Identify and mitigate safety and operational risks to maintain a safe and compliant job site
  • Contribute to successful project completion, meeting or exceeding client expectations for quality, schedule, and performance.

Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors.

Salary Range: $120,441 - $159,543 - $198,645
