Senior Program Manager

This position willlead a variety ofprojects and programsto ensure Quest Diagnostics isefficientand effective inthe delivery of its services, solutions, and processeswhile improving customerand employeesatisfaction.

Work Schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days work from home)

Internal Grade: 51

Pay Range: $120,000 - $155,000/ year, 15% Bonus

Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

• Build and maintain a best-in-class PMO through training and utilization of best practices
• Lead projects to effectively plan, execute, monitor, and closeprojects
  • Works through issues and roadblocks
    • Acts as a change agentto drive teamstowardsuccess
    • Guides team members to perform through issues andconstraints
    • Promptly addresses risks to project targets
  • Ownsprojects
    • Owns the timeline, budget, resource constraints, and deliverables/results
    • Shifts between the "big picture" and the small-but-crucialdetails
    • Is prepared to roll up their sleeves and work through detailedissues
  • Managesprojects
    • Effectively applies appropriate tools to achieve project targets (e.g. charter,change management, Ganttcharts, bowlers, etc)
  • Communicates
    • Actively communicates with project sponsors, stakeholders, and regional leadership
    • Establishes and maintains a regular cadence to ensure projects achieve targets
    • Manages sponsor and stakeholdersexpectations
  • Delivers the expectedresults
    • Performs root cause analysis on project shortfalls andtakes corrective action asnecessary
• Applies project management tools and techniques, toward a variety oflarge,and likely inter-related,projects
• Establishes and leads programs comprised of multiple projects, including designing how information is rolled up and cascaded down, operating rhythms and mechanisms, and tracking against the integrated set of milestones anddeliverables
• Coaches other employees onthe use of project/program management tools, concepts and practices inorderfor Quest Diagnostics employeesto build self-sufficiency, sustainability andscalability
• Leads Project Management training sessions

Required WorkExperience:

• 7+ years leading large scale projects/programs
• 5+ years working in a regulated environment
• Track record of successful project execution (timeline, budget, etc)
• PMP Certification

Preferred Work Experience:

• 3+ years working in a laboratory environment
• 3+ years experience in Policy Deployment/Hoshin Kanri/strategy design & execution
• Experience building the infrastructure for a best-in-class PMO
• Experience leading projects across functions (Operations, commercial, administrative, etc)

Physical and Mental Requirements:
