Ecolab is seeking aMaintenance Mechanic I - Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) to join our team inMcDonough, GA Warehouse. As a Maintenance Mechanic I, you will repair and install electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components industrial machinery and perform preventative maintenance.
- Refurb dish machines in the Light Refurb Center
- Inspect parts to determine salvageability or method of repairing/reworking parts and repair recoverable parts of machines
- Fit and assemble components according to assembly prints, manuals, work instructions and knowledge of machine construction to refurb machines, using a variety of hand, power, and air tools
- Analyze assembly prints and specifications manual, and plan machine building operations.
- Handle basic electrical wiring, routine testing of mechanical / hydraulic / electrical components of assembled units and make necessary adjustment and /or corrections.
- Use and set up all required power tools and equipment.
- Verify alignment and tolerances of moving parts
- Test and calibrate dish machines refurbed by team members to meet tolerances and product specifications and guarantee quality of dish machines.
- Perform final cleaning, polishing and buffing of dish machine to ensure high standards of Ecolab machines; package and label machine accordingly.
- Perform full functional testing, troubleshooting, and sign off of completed dish machines for cleaning quality, and to ensure that all label covers are correctly installed, and required accessories are included for shipping.
- Loading and offloading trailers. Accurate record keeping of dishmachine movements.
- Organize dishmachine storage area for optimum flow
- High School diploma or GED
- 1 year experience of mechanical/electrical/plumbing related experience
- 1 year of Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity and strong analytical ability
- 1 year of required knowledge of assembly techniques, test procedures, use of hand power tools, and working knowledge of mechanical equipment.
- 1 year experience of Microsoft Office
- 1 year experience of operating a Raymond stand-up Forklift

Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 pounds chest high Wearing and using a respirator under certain conditions (Garyville, Fresno, Clearing, Ellwood City, Montgomery)

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range
The pay range for this position is $23.44 - $35.16. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
