Objective: To reduce accounts receivable past dues within specified region and resolve related problems by working closely with dealers, sales reps, freight carriers and office personnel.
Organizational Structure: Reports directly to the Regional Credit Manager.
Specific Responsibilities:
  1. Processing coded chargeback items(RBs & Rus)
  2. Using established guidelines to determine if deduction valid.
  3. If valid, processing transaction for credit memo
  4. If invalid, conducting follow thru until collected.
  5. Coding unidentified deductions appropriately and handling as referenced above.
  6. Actively involved in the handling and processing of delinquent notices and collection of same.
  7. Assigned collection responsibilities include all past due accounts in specified region.
  8. Includes documenting all collection activity in accounts receivable software.
  9. Forward any seriously delinquent or problem account to the Regional Credit Manager.
  10. Creating charge back invoices for codes deemed invalid and following collection procedures until resolved.
  11. Initiate collection calls.
  12. Create collection emails and various correspondence.
  13. Handle incoming calls and inquiries.
  14. Obtaining Proofs of Deliveries (POD) when requested.
  15. Responsible for notifying appropriate office personnel of address/name changes (once specified criteria have been met). Also required to update address/name changes in mainframe, JD Edwards and Sharepoint software systems.
  16. Starting the refund request process in SharePoint for Regional Credit Manager
  17. Processing Credit Memos/Billout Invoices as approved by Res Dealer Services & Hospitality
  18. Any additional responsibilities as assigned by Regional Credit Manager.

Regional Account Analyst Authority:

The Regional Account Analyst is authorized to take any reasonable action necessary to carry out the assigned responsibilities. These must be in keeping with Bernhardt policy and other established policies and practices; and subject to general and specific authority limitations/expansions, as established by the Regional and Corporate Credit Managers.

Additional Duties for Tammy Turner:
  1. Lead person for sales tax Avalara software
  2. Issues credit memos & billouts for sales tax errors as approved by Shelly Hanna
  3. Works closely with Shelly Hanna on keeping the correct most current sales tax information needed
