Work across teams at Apple to drive improvements in core technical frameworks. Improve the launch speed, processing speed, memory size, and power consumption of the WebKit framework. Diagnose engineering performance issues, identify and correct recent performance regressions. Investigate cases of poor performance in WebKit-based engineering applications. Identifying software engineering performance bottlenecks and hot spots in the WebKit engine. Create and defend performance benchmarks covering important web technologies. Interact with software engineering developers on the Open Source WebKit project. Utilize debugging and software engineering tools. Train others in performance improvement techniques.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $139,500 - $210,100/yr. and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
