SUMMARY:
Owns and performs talent acquisition activities for the Nintendo Technology Development Inc. (NTD) organization in coordination with Nintendo of America Inc. (NOA).

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES



  • Acts as the primary recruiter and owns the end-to-end process of hiring for NTD
  • Collaborates frequently with NTD managers for recruiting
  • Oversees external recruiting partners
  • Helps define and propagate recruiting best-practices to NTD
  • Administers recruiting operations including:
  • Job position creation, approval, and posting
  • Customizing job descriptions for specific roles and qualifications
  • Prioritization of open job positions
  • Evaluating candidates' strengths compared with position requirements and expectations
  • Identifying interviewers and scheduling interviews
  • Compensation calibration for new job offers
  • Offer letter negotiation and finalization
  • Manages NTD's involvement in career fairs, internship programs, etc.
  • Participates in NTD on-boarding activities
  • Monitors and audits adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and procedures
  • Seeks innovative ways to improve hiring processes and helps train managers
  • Tracks metrics and produces reports on NTD recruiting status


SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS



  • 10 years of technical recruiting experience, preferably in a technology-based corporate environment
  • Experience recruiting passive and active candidates specializing in embedded software and hardware development, developer tools, and engineering support functions
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision in a highly confidential, development environment
  • Ability to demonstrate effective use of social media and other emerging trends and technologies
  • Proven ability to identify passive candidates for hard to fill/niche positions
  • Can screen candidates for technical and cultural fit
  • Comprehensive knowledge of state and federal employment labor laws
  • Knowledge of Nintendo products, services, departments and jobs is helpful
  • Undergraduate degree preferred


PHYSICAL/FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS:



  • Normal office environment with moderate noise levels
  • Ability to perform consistent work on a PC
  • Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to effectively move about an office campus
  • Ability to interact with others
  • Ability to work in an environment with moderate levels of stress


Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States to be considered. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

This position is onsite in Redmond, WA, and not open to remote status at this time.

This position includes the base pay range listed below, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.

$105,300 $168,500 USD
