Summary/Objective:

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects that deliver defined outcomes on time, within scope, and within budget. This role partners with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business objectives into actionable project plans, manage risks and dependencies, and ensure consistent communication and governance throughout the project lifecycle.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Lead projects from initiation through closeout, including development of project charters, schedules, budgets, and risk registers.
  2. Define project scope, objectives, success criteria, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  3. Manage project timelines, dependencies, and milestones to ensure delivery against commitments.
  4. Partner with business, technical, and operational teams to ensure project requirements are understood and met.
  5. Facilitate decision-making, issue resolution, and alignment across multiple teams and leadership levels.
  6. Coordinate internal resources and external vendors as needed to support project execution.
  7. Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks, issues, and change requests.
  8. Provide regular status updates, dashboards, and presentations to stakeholders and leadership.
  9. Ensure projects comply with organizational standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  10. Apply project management best practices, tools, and methodologies to improve delivery consistency.
  11. Capture lessons learned and contribute to process improvements across the project portfolio.
  12. Lead through example and always exhibit core values.
  13. Enhance department reputation by accepting ownership over new and different cross functional demands and exploring opportunities to add value.

Working Conditions:

  1. Primarily working indoors, office environment.
  2. May sit for several hours at a time.
  3. Prolonged exposure to computer screens.
  4. Repetitive use of hands to operate computers, printers, and copiers.

2. 3+ years of experience managing projects in a structured environment

Supervisory Responsibility:

This role does not have any supervisory responsibility upon hiring.

Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to count and record findings. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly talk and listen. This position may require typing and sitting in a chair for up to 8 hours a day.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time salary position, and hours/days of work are decided by production schedules and your reporting manager.

Travel:

Travel is flexible and will be light to moderate. Less than 25% but this is dependent on location in the country. May require onsite visits in support of projects and in person meetings as scheduled.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  1. Experience working on data warehouse and data analytics projects.
  2. Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, information systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  3. Project management certification (PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2, or equivalent) Preferred
  4. Experience working within an Enterprise PMO or portfolio management environment.
  5. Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., ServiceNow SPM, MS Project).
  6. Experience translating technical or operational work into executive-level communication
