The main campus is located in the historic village of Kingston, and the Bay Campus is located in Narragansett. Both campuses are near major beaches in a beautiful coastal community. URI is just 30 minutes from Providence, RI and within easy reach of Newport, Boston, and New York City. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ The College of Health Sciences includes seven departments (Communicative Disorders, Human Development and Family Science, Kinesiology, Nutrition, Physical Therapy, Psychology, and Public Health), as well as the Interdisciplinary Neuroscience Program, the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, and the Program in Gerontology. The College offers seven undergraduate degrees with a total enrollment of 2,460 students. The College offers eight master's degree programs and four doctoral degree programs with a total graduate enrollment of 264 graduate students. There are 90 faculty members in the college. The College operates five on campus clinics and two off campus clinics, as well as two child development centers. POSITION SUMMARY: Provide strategic leadership as a key member of the College's Administrative Leadership Team, overseeing all aspects of academic programs and faculty affairs in partnership with the Dean. Work collaboratively with college leadership to support alignment of academic priorities, resources, and operations. Champion faculty excellence through mentorship and transparent management of career milestone processes, while driving innovation in curriculum design, program quality, and program promotion that advances the College's mission and impact in health sciences education and scholarship.
