JOB TYPEClassification: Exempt Supervises Positions: JOB SUMMARYThis role requires a commitment to UVA Health' ASPIRE values: Accountability, Stewardship, Professionalism, Integrity, Respect, and Equity, ensuring high standards of patient care and collaborative work environment.The Registered Nurse Clinical Supervisor accepts accountability for the provision of care in accordance with UVA Health's policies and procedures and competency to promote patient health and wellness. The Registered Nurse Clinical Supervisor in partnership with the Clinic Administrator, ensures implementation and success of organizational goals; organizes and coordinates the clinical environment, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of healthcare services. Supervises 20 or more clinical FTEs and may include RN, LPNs, medical assistants and other unlicensed personnel. Registered Nurse Clinical Supervisor serves as a clinical leader of the healthcare team. In addition to the supervisory responsibilities, the Registered Nurse Clinical Supervisor will provide patient care support in accordance with nursing scope of practice.This position requires providing services to all age populations in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individuals served. QUALIFICATIONSEducation: 4 Year/Bachelor's degree preferred Experience: Minimum of 3 years nursing experience required. Minimum of 2 year supervisory or lead experience required. Licensure: RN licensure in applicable state preferred. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: BLS required. Ability to successfully complete general and department role based specific skills validation and competency testing. Excellent human relation skills, possess effective oral and written communication skills, possess leadership and problem-solving skills, operate personal computer. PHYSICAL DEMANDSPhysical Demand Code: Medium to Heavy Physical Demand: The job requires constant standing, frequently walking, and bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory, and visual skills. Attention to detail and ability to write legibly. Ability to lift/push/pull 100 lbs. For any weight over 35 lbs., use Safe Handling Equipment. The base compensation range for this role is $36.26 - $58.88 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education. Please note that the pay range does not include any applicable incentive compensation programs such as shift differentials, clinical ladders, and other incentives that may be available for those in eligible positions.
