Customer Service Representative *Entry Level | Contact Center Environment*
Summary If you enjoy solving problems and helping people navigate questions or issues, this could be a great opportunity for you. As the first point of contact for customers, you'll provide support with billing questions, payments, portal access, and general account inquiries. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fastpaced environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities * Handle billing-related inquiries via phone, text chat, and email in a highvolume contact center environment * Take payments and assist customers with billing explanations and account questions * Support customers with portal login and navigation * Provide accurate information while maintaining a professional, friendly, and empathetic approach * Take ownership of customer requests and see them through to resolution efficiently and accurately * Analyze information to make sound decisions and solve customer issues in real time * Perform basic math calculations (addition, subtraction, division, percentages) when assisting with billing inquiries * Navigate multiple systems simultaneously to research and resolve customer concerns * Meet established productivity, service, and quality performance standards * Follow corporate policies, regulatory requirements (SOX), and business processes (PCI) * Complete additional tasks, projects, and overtime as business needs require Required Skills * Strong *customer service* skills * Clear, professional verbal and written communication * Ability to remain calm and effective in a fastpaced, highvolume environment * Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities * Comfort multitasking across multiple screens and systems Preferred Qualifications * 1-2 years of customer service experience * Experience in a *highvolume contact center* environment * Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) * Strong computer skills, including keyboarding and web/cloud navigation * Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and accountability * Ability to manage competing priorities and handle stressful situations with confidence Education & Experience * High school diploma or equivalent required * College degree or currently pursuing education is a plus Experience Level * *Entry Level* *Job Type & Location* This is a Contract to Hire position based out of O FALLON, MO. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
