Professional Summary The Client Service Representative delivers exceptional service by supporting clients with online and mobile banking, loan-related transactions, and account inquiries. This role serves as a key point of contact for resolving issues, researching discrepancies, and ensuring accurate, timely client support. The position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to proactively identify client needs while adhering to regulatory and security requirements. Success in this role is driven by a client-first mindset, effective problem-solving, and collaboration within a fast-paced team environment.
Key Responsibilities * Provide exceptional client service by researching, resolving, and following through on client issues, errors, and inquiries. * Support clients and branch staff with online and mobile banking, loan-related transactions, and other account servicing needs. * Proactively assess client service needs, provide account information, and complete transactions accurately on behalf of clients. * Contribute to department service quality goals through consistent, high-quality interactions and timely issue resolution. * Actively expand existing client relationships by identifying opportunities to cross-sell products and services or referring clients to appropriate sales staff. * Utilize computerized systems to gather information, troubleshoot issues, document interactions, and track client calls. * Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, security standards, and applicable federal and state regulations. * Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while adapting to changing priorities in a busy, team-oriented environment. Qualifications * Proven ability to deliver professional, accurate, and responsive client service. * Strong verbal and written communication skills, including effective phone and email etiquette. * Experience with sales support, cross-selling, or client referrals. * Demonstrated negotiation, customer service, and time management skills. * Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. * Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations related to deposit accounts and banking operations. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and the ability to navigate multiple computer applications simultaneously.
