| Job Description Summary: |
The Executive Assistant to the Vice President for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer (
CIO) provides high-level administrative and executive support to the
CIO and represents the Office of the
CIO with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment. The Executive Assistant ensures the effective use of the CIO's time, anticipates needs in advance of meetings and engagements, and serves as a key liaison between the CIO's office and campus and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and prioritize the CIO's complex calendar, meetings, and commitments, exercising judgment in scheduling and aligning time with strategic priorities.
- Prepare the CIO for meetings by developing agendas, compiling briefings, coordinating materials, and proactively identifying issues or decision points.
- Coordinate logistics for meetings, retreats, and events, including space, technology, and virtual participation.
- Serve as a professional point of contact for the Office of the CIO, engaging with senior leaders, faculty, staff, vendors, and external partners.
- Draft, edit, finalize, and disseminate executive-level correspondence, presentations, and communications on behalf of the CIO.
- Track meeting follow-ups, action items, and deadlines to ensure accountability and timely completion.
- Manage travel arrangements, expense reimbursements, and administrative processes for the CIO.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Support day-to-day office operations and special projects as assigned.

| Minimum Qualifications: |
Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. |
