POSITION: Asset Based Lending Portfolio Manager

Position Summary:

We are committed to exceeding expectations and having a strong commitment to diversity.The ABL Portfolio Manager ("ABL PM") will be an entry level to mid-level ABL professional with 2+ years of ABL experience and will report directly to SVP, Head of Asset-Based Lending. Ideally, the ABL PM will have been formally credit trained and/or had experiencing as an ABL Field Examiner (although this is not an absolute requirement depending on overall experience).

Key Result Areas:

* Becoming efficient, via in depth training, working with ABLSoft to include the ability to review and approve changes to borrowing base components/amounts.

Support ABL Relationship Managers ("RMs") in the following areas:

Portfolio Maintenance

* Support the management of all accounts within the ABL portfolio. Specific activities and roles to be determined by ABL RMs and Head of ABL on an account-by-account basis and with guidance and support from the ABL RMs to include:

o Ensuring the timely receipt of all required information and documents, including financial reporting, borrowing base and collateral reporting, insurance documentation and CIP and KYC information.

o Providing regular written updates (via Memo to Credit File with copies to Head of ABL, SVP Head of Corporate Banking and SVP Chief Credit Officer) on ABL account financial performance as it relates to prior year and current year budget, borrowing base/availability analysis and general overview of ABL account business and industry challenges or positive trends.

o Consistent and regular review of credit risk rating of each account and the appropriate recommendations of upgrade or downgrade of the risk rating, as applicable.

o Work closely with ABL RMs to develop and maintain a customized existing ABL account management plan for each account in the ABL portfolio.

o Join ABL RMs at regularly occurring face to face meetings with all clients.

o Follow ABL RMs during legal document negotiations/execution, with assist from Head of ABL, as required.

New Business Development

* Work along side ABL RMs on New Business Efforts including

o On marketing efforts, including face to face and web calls with COIs when appropriate (to be determined by ABL RMs).

o During the initial financial analysis and structuring process as it relates to potential new and prospective ABL Borrowers.

o Assist in the completion of Deal Summary package and participate in the presentation of same to senior management of the Corporate Bank and appropriate credit professionals.

o Assist in the construction of Proposal Letter and Term Sheets ("PLTSs").

* Upon successful acceptance and execution of PLTS:

o Assist the ABL RMs and ABL Head of Operations to coordinate all required pre-loan due diligence assignments.

o Assist the ABL RMs to coordinate the efforts to establish full Cash Management/Full Cash Dominion with the appropriate internal support teams and the prospective borrower.

o Assist the ABL RMs with the full underwriting of the proposed ABL Credit Facility.

o When appropriate, assist the ABL RM with the presentation of the proposed ABL Credit Facility for approval of the Internal Loan Committee and CSB Board of Directors, as applicable.

o Assist the ABL RMs through legal documentation negotiations/execution through final closing and funding.

* Over time, certainly during years two and three in this role, the ABL PM will develop and execute a dedicated and focused new business calling effort, leveraging the ABL RMs and Head of ABL to begin to establish a high quality and productive network of COIs with an eye toward progressing to an ABL RM producing relevant new business opportunities for CSB ABL.

General

* The ABL PM will always, represent CSB and CSB ABL with integrity and professionalism while in the marketplace, interacting with COIs, meeting customers and prospective borrowers.

* The ABL PM is encouraged to become active in the New England ABL community by joining the Turnaround Management Association ("TMA"), the Secured Finance Network ("SFNet") and other networking groups, as applicable.

* The ABL PM is encouraged to contribute time and effort to one or more charitable foundations and to volunteer on a regular basis as CSB volunteer opportunities are presented.

Qualifications:

* Two plus years asset-based lending Experience

* College degree required with a major in Finance or Accounting

* Solid understanding of financial accounting, strong analytical and technical skills with the ability to learn new digital platforms.

* Proficiency with Excel required

* Excellent communication, customer services and personal communication skills.

* Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and to meet deadlines.

Location: Hybrid/Waltham, MA Salary Range: $97,000 - $125,000

The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Cambridge Savings Bank ranges from $97,000 - $125,000. Cambridge Saving Bank will determine actual compensation for the role based on factors including, but not limited to, the successful candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
