To support our continued growth, we're looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team at our Long Beach headquarters and play a critical role in shaping the future of our workforce.

In this role, you'll own full lifecycle recruiting across a diverse portfolio of positions, with a strong emphasis on proactive sourcing for hard-to-fill engineering roles. You'll be a trusted partner to hiring leaders-bringing market insights, creative recruiting strategies, and a consultative mindset-while delivering an elite candidate experience from first outreach through offer. In this role, you will report directly to the Talent Acquisition Manager and enjoy the flexible option of a hybrid work arrangement, requiring a minimum of two days per week in our Long Beach office

How you can make an impact

* Own and drive full cycle technical recruiting across engineering and science practice areas, and also own a mix of other requisitions, including corporate and field services.
* Develop and execute sourcing strategies for niche positions utilizing a variety of options that may include: internet sources such as LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, social media, job fairs, professional associations, employee referral program, and conferences.
* Build a pipeline of qualified candidates in advance of need using creative sourcing techniques and utilizing the CRM system.
* Conduct pre-screens and interviews for qualified candidates, develop professional rapport with candidates guiding them through the hiring process, and recommend top talent to hiring managers.
* Lead and influence the recruiting process for assigned requisitions, engaging hiring managers as active participants in securing top talent.
* Partner with hiring managers to deeply understand role requirements, team dynamics, and business goals.
* Responsible for drafting clear and compelling job postings, offer letters, and negotiating salaries.
* Manage Applicant Tracking System (ATS) database for assigned requisitions.
* Mentor junior talent acquisition staff and share best practices.
* Assist in outreach efforts and adhere to Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) and all applicable Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and state and federal laws.
* Stay current on industry trends, labor market conditions, and recruiting best practices to continuously improve strategies and inform hiring managers.
* Expected to independently prioritize workload and adjust to fluctuating hiring volumes while maintaining consistent quality and a best-in-class candidate experience.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
* Minimum of 7 years of recruiting experience required.
* Minimum of at least 2 years of internal recruiting experience required.
* Proven success in sourcing for hard-to-fill positions is required.
* Experience recruiting for senior-level positions is strongly preferred.
