ABOUT THE POSITION

The Senior Director of Data & Analytics is a key leadership role within Columbia's Digital Technology organization, reporting to the CTO. This leader will shape our enterprise data vision, oversee data and analytics platforms, and ensure highquality, trusted insights that enable faster, smarter decisionmaking across the business.

You will partner closely with senior executives to translate complex data into actionable strategies, guiding the evolution of our data environment, analytics capabilities, and futureforward use of AI and advanced analytics. This is a highly visible, strategic role responsible for elevating data as a competitive advantage for Columbia.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Define and implement a longterm enterprise data strategy aligned to business objectives, enabling insightdriven decisions and operational excellence.
  • Build and oversee data governance frameworks- including data quality, integrity, security, and lifecycle management-ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
  • Lead analytics platform modernization, including cloud data environments, data architecture, warehousing, BI tools, and scalable enterprise analytics solutions.
  • Champion advanced analytics and AIenabled insights, partnering with business leaders to identify opportunities that improve performance, predict trends, and accelerate decisionmaking.
  • Translate complex data into clear insights and strategic recommendations for senior leadership, establishing KPI frameworks and guiding enterprise reporting.
  • Develop and lead a highperforming global data organization, including data engineering, analytics, data management, and data science talent.
  • Collaborate across the enterprise-merchandising, finance, supply chain, DTC, marketing, and operations-to identify highvalue opportunities and build data solutions that enable business outcomes.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in data platforms, AI, predictive modeling, and analytics technologies to continuously enhance our capabilities and accelerate innovation.

YOU ARE

  • A strategic data leader who can both set the vision and drive execution.
  • Highly collaborative, able to build strong relationships with senior leaders.
  • Skilled at simplifying complexity and telling a compelling story with data.
  • A champion of innovation, embracing new tools and modern analytics methods.
  • A builder of teams, culture, and scalable data practices.
  • Comfortable balancing longterm strategy with nearterm deliverables.

YOU HAVE

  • 15+ years of experience in data, analytics, BI, or related functions, including senior leadership roles.
  • Expertise in data strategy, data architecture, analytics platforms, and cloudbased data environments.
  • Strong background in statistical analysis, predictive analytics, and data modeling.
  • Experience leading enterprise analytics and/or advanced analytics functions.
  • Deep industry experience within the retail industry, with handson expertise in one or more critical areas: supply chain, DTC, or ecommerce.
  • Proven ability to translate data into insights and guide executives toward action.
