Milton CAT is looking for a reliable, detaildriven Service Operations Support professional to play a key role in keeping our service technicians, supervisors, and customers running smoothly. This is a handson coordination role that sits at the center of our service operation-ideal for someone who understands urgency, followthrough, and how the shop and the field work together.

Pay Rate: $25.00-$28.00 per hour based on experience

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

You'll be the goto support person for our Service Department, ensuring work gets scheduled, communicated, and closed out accurately and on time.

  • Coordinate scheduling, routing, and assignments for service technicians
  • Answer calls and handle customer requests for service and quotes
  • Confirm work schedules directly with customers
  • Open, update, and close work orders and invoices
  • Order parts for shop and field repairs
  • Assist with repair estimates and incremental quotes
  • Support timecard and labor entries
  • Communicate leads and opportunities to other departments
  • Coordinate closely with CSA and department supervisors
  • Provide backup coverage across the Service Department as needed
  • Step up after hours when customer needs demand it
  • Maintain confidentiality related to pricing, inventory, and customer data

This role places heavy emphasis on followthrough, accountability, and supporting supervisors and technicians so jobs get completed correctly the first time.



Qualifications

  • Experience in service support, dispatch, operations, or administrative roles-preferably in construction, heavy equipment, automotive, or industrial environments
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize work in a fastpaced service operation
  • Comfortable working with technicians, supervisors, and customers
  • Dependable, calm under pressure, and solutionsfocused
