Location: Eden Prairie, MN (Hybrid)

Duration: Summer 2026 (Fulltime, Paid Internship)

Compensation: $25-$30/hr.

The Data Analytics Intern will support analytics, documentation, and automation initiatives across the organization. The role offers handson exposure to structured and unstructured datasets, reporting and insights generation, process improvement, automation, and documentation/knowledge management.

Responsibilities:



  • Analyze and extract insights from diverse datasets, including PDF manuals, technical documentation, training materials, and videobased content.
  • Perform document and data analysis to identify trends, gaps, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support automation initiatives using Python or other programming/scripting languages.
  • Assist with data preparation, analysis, and validation using Excel.
  • Support reporting and dashboard development; Power BI experience is a plus.
  • Create and maintain clear, accurate, and wellstructured documentation.
  • Support exploratory use cases involving AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams.



Required Education and Experience:



  • Currently pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Experience using Excel for data analysis.
  • Familiarity with Python or other programming languages.
  • Strong written communication and documentation abilities.
  • Experience working with unstructured or semistructured data.



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Power BI experience.
  • Exposure to AI or Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • Ability to read, write, or speak multiple languages.

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $25 - 30 per hour

Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Tennant Co. reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualifications of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.Contractors who qualify to enroll in benefits via Populus may be eligible for: 401K; Health; Dental; Vision; Long & Short-Term Disability; Life Insurance.
