A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and three years of satisfactory full-time progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience, one year of which must have been in an administrative capacity or supervising staff performing clerical/administrative work of more than moderate difficulty; or Preferred Skills
Strong organizational and administrative skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and case management databases. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging in cooperative dialogue with employees and supervisors. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. Experience working in government or public-sector HR. Experience in handling reasonable accommodation requests, HR compliance issues, and/or related administrative functions. Knowledge of ADA, Title VII, the NYC Human Rights Law, and EEOC regulations. 55a Program
