Job Summary The Sports Psychology LPC serves as a primary resource for the development and delivery of a mental performance program designed to improve the mental skills of athletes and/or other groups looking to enhance their performance. This person will also be responsible for planning, coordinating, and facilitating such educational activities within the system and measuring their efficacy. In addition, this position will perform and provide clinical assessments and treatments for those with clinical mental health diagnoses.Monument Health offers competitive wages and benefits on qualifying positions. Additional Requirements Required: Education - Masters degree in Social Sciences, Social Services, or Psychology Certifications - Licensed Professional Counselor License - South Dakota Department of Social Services Certifications/Licensures Preferred: Certifications - Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) Experience - 1+ years Sports Medicine Experience; 1+ years Psychiatric Services Experience; 1+ years Behavior Health Experience Physical Requirements:Light work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
