Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

To execute requested products for North America specific key accounts in cooperation with marketing and development on an SMU or shortened calendar.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Execute multiple creative concepts driven by briefs from NAM key accounts and marketing counterparts. Present the designs in context to the marketing and key account direction.
  • Verbally present product ideas and details with clarity
  • Collaborate across team functions efficiently and quickly to finalize color and material concepts to hit sample deadlines- ensuring on time sample delivery.
  • Ability to research seasonal NAM specific trend ideas and create concepts to present to accounts
  • Ability to complete work in a timely and detailed oriented fashion
  • Understand the creative vision in a product range for the category.
  • Understand and track INLINE franchise design languages within the category and overall INLINE seasonal direction.
  • Understand and execute Corporate Identity guidelines according to legal guidance.
  • Ensure efficient process and communication flow between design, marketing and development (within x- functional team) for all issues regarding the designed ranges and products.
  • Ensure proper handover of cads into development and marketing. Main duty is to submit all relevant information needed for the final sample including graphic files, color and material callouts.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:



  • Strong collaboration skills. Ability to work within a team structure to come to a unified decision.
  • General knowledge of footwear design
  • GFX helpful but not necessary
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Good knowledge of product development, material and trims for assigned product range
  • Passion for Design
  • Good level of creativity
  • High level of detail orientation
  • High knowledge/ use of Macintosh computer design software/systems (Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Strongly versed in Adobe Creative Suite

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelor degree (B.A.) from a college or university, major Design or industrial product engineering


  • 3 years of practical experience in design environment (Footwear/ Apparel/ Accessories - or industrial design, fashion design or similar design related areas)
