Description and Requirements

This role is responsible for shaping, articulating, and governing quarterly and annual marketing investments that advance Lenovo's brand, communications, consumer, and commercial marketing priorities across North America. The position leads a high-performing marketing operations team and plays a critical role in aligning internal marketing plans with key alliance partner strategies while overseeing core marketing budgets.

The ideal candidate is a strong people leader with a solid foundation in marketing operations, financial acumen, and cross-functional partnership. This individual brings the rigor to deeply understand investments and financials, along with the strategic mindset needed to translate complex stakeholder objectives into scalable, growth-driving plans.



Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a marketing operations team with a strong growth mindset, emphasizing coaching, capability building, and professional development
  • Partner closely with North America Marketing, Finance leadership, and Alliances peers to ensure marketing investments are clearly defined, aligned, and executed effectively
  • Translate alliance partner priorities into integrated internal marketing plans, maximizing financial support and return on investment from partner funding
  • Address complex, strategic business challenges by synthesizing inputs from multiple stakeholders and building cohesive investment strategies in partnership with the NA CMO
  • Represent marketing and alliances in financial and strategic discussions as needed; stay closely connected to major initiatives and sensitive topics to proactively anticipate marketing involvement.
  • Conduct regular and ad hoc data analysis to deliver clear, actionable insights that support day-to-day business management and executive decision-making
  • Liaise between WW & NA Marketing and WW BU Marketing to optimize marketing investments, resources, and outcomes
  • Keeps track of funding utilization and claiming while engaging with key stakeholders to ensure no funding is left unused and POEs are fully claimed.


Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of industry experience with a bachelor's degree. MBA a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in Alliances and/or Partner Management role
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of marketing & sales planning/programs and execution
  • Proven ability to lead through influence and manage multiple cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Hands-on, results-driven leader with the ability to think both strategically and tactically
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with proven ability to engage and influence senior executives
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, focused on identifying root issues, proposing solutions delivering win-win outcomes
  • High attention to detail paired with strong analytical and financial acumen
  • Experience leveraging reporting and analytics tools to inform results
