About This Role

The College of Health and Human Sciences (HHS) at Kansas State University is looking to hire an Accreditation Coordinator to join its team. This position will support academic programs in HHS through coordinating accreditation and compliance activities, managing affiliation agreements, and facilitating student onboarding and experiential learning placements. The Accreditation Coordinator serves as a key liaison among academic programs, accrediting bodies, affiliated sites, and institutional partners, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and program requirements. This position reports to the Associate Dean for Student Success.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:



  • Coordinate accreditation and reaccreditation processes by supporting the collection, preparation, review, and timely submission of all required documentation in accordance with accrediting body standards
  • Maintain comprehensive and organized records of accreditation materials, including self-study reports, annual reports, correspondence, and Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs)
  • Collaborate with academic programs to collect, validate, and analyze program performance data and outcomes required for accreditation reporting
  • Prepare for and coordinate accreditation site visits by organizing schedules, evaluator itineraries, meeting logistics, accommodations, and required materials
  • Partner with academic programs and website administrators to ensure institutional and program webpages remain compliant with accreditation standards and reporting requirements
  • Assist with the coordination, monitoring, and renewal of existing affiliation agreements with external partners
  • Support the development and execution of new affiliation agreements to expand practicum and internship placement opportunities
  • Serve as a liaison between academic programs and affiliated sites to ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and program-specific requirements
  • Advise and assist students in identifying appropriate internship or practicum sites and defining project scopes that meet program and accreditation requirements
  • Coordinate onboarding requirements for incoming students, ensuring completion and verification of all required documentation prior to placement

Worksite Description

This position is remote required. The selected candidate must live in or near the Manhattan, Kansas area as they are expected to have availability to be on-campus for routine and scheduled meetings during the work week.

All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho.


What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:



  • High school diploma (or equivalent)
  • Seven years of relevant experience in accreditation, academic program coordination, or higher education administration

    • Requirements may be met through a combination of work experience and education




Preferred Qualifications:



  • Master's degree
  • Experience in data collection and analysis
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and data management skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
