We're seeking a future team member for the role of Director, IWM Portfolio Manager to join our Wealth Management team. This role is located in Beachwood, OH. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Independently manage a significant amount of assets within investment policy guidelines, including flagship funds.
- Direct a significant portion of assets under management (AUM), manage external revenue of no less than $10 million, and/or oversee larger and more complex funds/accounts that are strategic to the firm.
- Supervise Senior Portfolio Managers and provide guidance to less experienced Portfolio Managers as needed.
- Serve as a key spokesperson for funds by meeting with clients and new business prospects to communicate investment strategy, discuss market performance, and review current market conditions.
- Oversee the evaluation of investment performance and make timely portfolio adjustments to meet investment objectives and allocation guidelines.
- Participate in investment committee responsibilities, contributing to the development and sharing of policies and strategies to improve business performance.
- Make informed business decisions based on stakeholder input, data, and key performance indicators to support client retention and firm profitability.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required; advanced/graduate degree preferred.
- 10-15 years of total work experience preferred, with over 10 years of investment experience preferred for candidates holding MBAs or CFAs.
- Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business.
- Bi-lingual capabilities and an understanding of local/cultural nuances are helpful to build client trust.
- Strong leadership skills with experience supervising senior professionals and influencing client retention.
