• Telecare behavioral health program is a 24/7, Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT) serving individuals of all ages experiencing mental health crisis.
• MCRT is creating an opportunity for Clinicians, Case Manager Master's, and Certified Peer Supports to intervene in a unique way that has never been done before in our system of care.
• This program collaborates and accepts referrals from the San Diego Access and Crisis Line (ACL) and law enforcement.
• MCRT will offer crisis triage and management, risk assessment, in-person intervention, and case management.
• Each team will respond to calls from the mobile crisis van to provide services directly in the field

What You Will Do to Change Lives

Licensed Clinician at this 24/7 Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT) provides community-based, onsite crisis intervention anywhere in the community to individuals of any age experiencing behavioral health emergencies. They work with a partner and respond to crisis calls as a team. They conduct rapid assessments, create safety plans, and facilitate care referrals to reduce reliance on law enforcement, working in high-intensity, field-based settings. They provide care coordination to resources as needed and will perform 5150 Holds when clinically indicated. Must have the ability to work independently in high-stress situations, strong diagnostic skills, and a commitment to trauma-informed care.

Shifts Available:

Full-Time | NOC | Days & Shifts: Thursday - Saturday 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, & every other Wednesday 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Expected starting wage range is $99,302.95 - $122,674.36. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

What are the qualifications? (Must Have)

• A Master's Degree in Social Sciencesor related field
• Current licensure or registration with CA BBS as an LMFT, LCSW, LPCC
• Two (2) years of experience in providing crisis management and mental health services
• Driver's license and vehicle insurance that is current and validwith your name listed as the driver
• Your own personal vehicle to use for work to attend community meetings, drive on site to crisis if needed, and more.
• Position requires transporting Members in program van

What will your role entail?

• Dispatched and responds to emergency / crisis events in the community
• Provides onsite therapeutic interventions support to persons and families in crisis
• Collaborates with other First Responders as needed to provide onsite crisis support including, but not limited to, transporting members to appropriate levels of care
• Will act as a leader for the dispatched mobile team, providing clinical guidance and instruction to team members
• Will complete a concise assessment to paint a clinical picture of the members needs and provide appropriate treatment recommendations
• Making appropriate referrals for placement, case management and aftercare services, as assigned
• Developing and maintaining an awareness of community resource
