Position Summary

Job Summary:
Perform setup and operate CNC lathes or mills with existing programs and tooling information.

Responsibilities

Job Duties:

  • Setup and operate CNC lathes or mills with existing programs and tooling information (such as Mazak).
  • Make tool offsets as required.
  • Make offset changes on CNC equipment.
  • Inspection equipment/tools (such as MicroVu & Keyence).
  • Deburr parts as needed.
  • Work with little or no supervision.
  • Work cohesively within a team environment.
  • Complete thorough quality production documents: including but not limited to, First Article Inspection (FAI), Day by Hour Reports, and others, as required.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2 years of machine shop experience.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Know basic math skills.
  • Able to interpret blueprints and follow written/verbal instructions.
  • Ability to troubleshoot tooling problems to produce quality parts to specifications.

Work schedule: Monday - Friday, 2:30 pm - 12:00 am; eligible for shift differential pay.
