PUBLIC WORKS/ROAD CREW POSTIONS

Franklin Township, York County, PA is now accepting applications for the position of full-time, part-time and/or seasonal Road Workers. Applicants will mow and perform maintenance work for township parks, perform activities for Franklin Township transportation services such as patching roads, plowing (with required qualifications), mowing along roads, etc. Applicants will also be expected to perform manual labor, basic maintenance tasks and assist in township property maintenance as well as other duties as assigned by the township Roadmaster. Qualified applicants (operating heavy equipment) must possess a valid PA Class A-CDL drivers' license and Flagger Training card. Benefits such as vacation, sick and personal days are provided as well as a 457/401 retirement plan for full-time employees. The hours are 7: 00-3: 30 PM, M-F Limited benefits are available for part-time employees.
