JOB DESCRIPTION: APPLE INC has the following available for Software Systems Engineer (REQ# 200647572) in San Diego, California. Architect and implement production software systems for new technologies, fusing them with existing capabilities, and bringing new experiences to our users. Collaborate with developers on other iOS teams to architect the full iOS solution. Design and implement full-stack technologies integrating wireless technologies to solve real-world problems. Participate in brainstorming and evaluating new technologies as iOS continues to evolve. Collect and analyze real-world data sets of varying size and complexity. Optimize performance, robustness, and scalability of new and existing services. Summarize and distill the technical content to inform the upper management and gather technical direction. Create a technical demonstration experiment/experience for other teams and management.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $139,500 - $210,100/yr. and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
