Responsible for coordinating multiple large-scale program activities and providing administrative support, ensuring operational efficiency and alignment with organizational goals. Facilitates communication across departments, monitors program timelines, and supports project implementation to enhance program effectiveness. Contributes to reporting and data analysis to assess program impact and support strategic improvements. Provides guidance and support to other team members.

Essential Functions
-Assist in the day-to-day administrative tasks related to program management.
-Maintain accurate and organized program documentation, including project plans, reports, and correspondence.
-Assist in the planning and execution of events related to hospital programs, such as workshops, training sessions, and community outreach activities.
-Enter and manage program-related data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
-Communicate with program participants and stakeholders, providing information, collecting feedback, and addressing inquiries.
-Assists with the financial operations of the program.

High School Diploma or Equivalent required and Associate's Degree Related Field of Study preferred

Licenses and Credentials

Experience
Administrative or program support experience 3-5 years required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data management software.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in record-keeping and data entry.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

This position supports the MGB research enterprise, and the candidate will gain substantial exposure and experience in managing it.

The MGB Research Oversight Committee (MGB ROC) is a governing body of research leaders and faculty that advises MGB on matters affecting the research community across all MGB institutions. ROC comprises a core membership and several subcommittees that focus on specific activities.

Under the leadership of the Vice President of Research Strategy and Faculty Development and the Administrative Director of ROC, this position supports ROC's programming and communication needs. The candidate will need to be highly organized and goal-oriented, with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently.

This position plays a key role in coordinating, scheduling, and preparing agendas for the many monthly ROC and ROC subcommittee meetings, as well as coordinating internal communications for ROC-related activities and grants. The Program Coordinator coordinates communication that supports not only ROC initiatives but also those of MGB Research, and will work in tandem with the internal Communication Specialists.

This position provides ongoing direct administrative support to the Vice President, the Administrative Director, and other ROC staff.
