You'll Support Meaningful Work By:

  • Serving as the primary business consultant between Steelcase North America, dealers, and field sales, guiding dealer activities before orders are created and placed.
  • Understanding the Steelcase order fulfillment value stream and optimizing supply chain, manufacturing, and delivery efficiencies to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
  • Mentoring and supporting dealers in adopting best practices for order management and pre-order processes.
  • Advocating for dealer needs by monitoring dealership performance measures and driving process improvements with quality and manufacturing teams.
  • Leading pre-order meetings with dealers and field sales contacts to align expectations and resolve potential issues.
  • Collaborating with internal Steelcase departments to fulfill dealer orders and resolve problems effectively.
  • Applying Lean and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance operational efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written)
  • Customer service and order management experience.
  • Project management or similar experience

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • SAP knowledge
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to organize and present information clearly.
  • Ability to build positive relationships and influence dealer behavior to align with order management best practices.
  • Confidence in leading meetings and presenting to groups of varying sizes.
  • Problem-solving skills to identify and implement corrective actions for order management issues.
  • Familiarity with Lean and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage time-sensitive tasks effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, International Business, Commerce, International Relations, or related field.
