Our Opening and Your Responsibilities Role Purpose: Support the evaluation and enhancement of manufacturing processes using Lean tools and concepts to improve product design, equipment effectiveness, workflow, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Assist in designing and optimizing manufacturing processes, layouts, and equipment to boost efficiency and reduce waste. Support Lean initiatives and kaizens across departments (Manufacturing, Engineering, CI, Sales). Develop, maintain, and train on manufacturing work instructions for all product lines. Provide daily shop floor support, resolving process and production challenges. Act as liaison between Engineering and Manufacturing to troubleshoot and streamline production. Collaborate on value stream mapping, 5S, SMED, and other Lean tools to drive continuous improvement. Contribute to cost savings and process optimization through data-driven analysis and cross-functional teamwork. Assist in maintaining master production data, work center routing, and layout design. What You Need to Succeed Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills Self-motivated and effective in cross-functional collaboration Knowledge of fabrication processes (welding, machining, metal forming, polishing) preferred Background in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering Proficient in Microsoft Office and mechanical design software (Inventor, SolidWorks) Familiar with Lean principles (Continuous Flow, 5S, VSM, Kaizen) This position is considered safety sensitive and is subject to drug testing as permitted by law.
