Sr. Business Analyst

The Senior Business Analyst will help design and deliver the company's next generation KPI framework and enterprise dashboards. This role owns the full life cycle from metric definition and data modeling through production build, quality assurance, documentation, and adoption. Success means reliable and consistent KPIs, a clear semantic layer, and executive ready views that guide decisions across multiple departments.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, andmaintainscalable Power BI dashboards with strong ownership while collaborating closely with the BI team

  • Write efficient SQL to support self-service reporting and ad hoc analysis

  • Partner directly with business leaders to translate requirements into practical, usable reporting solutions

  • Own KPIs across sales, retention, HR, and club operations, ensuring accuracy and consistency

  • Deliver insights clearly and confidently to leadership, focusing on what drives business decisions

  • Source,validate, and prepare data from UKG and other enterprise platforms

  • Modernize legacy reporting, including converting and improving SSRS reports where appropriate

  • Operate within a collaborative BI team environment that includes regular check-ins, shared prioritization, and transparent communication to ensure alignment and delivery

Required Skills & Competencies

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience building dashboards in Power BI (not just supporting existing reportsor academic development)

  • Strong SQL skills with the ability to independently query andvalidatedata

  • Proven ability tooperatein a highly hands-on role with limited direction

  • Advanced Excel for analysis and data validation

  • Use Python or similar tools to automate data preparation, enhance analyses, and improve reporting efficiency where appropriate

  • Demonstratedtrack recordof turning ambiguous business questions into clear reporting solutions

  • Strong communicator who is comfortable working cross-functionally and incorporating feedback

  • Team-oriented mindset with a low-ego, roll-up-your-sleeves approach

Preferred

  • Experience modernizing or migrating legacy reporting (SSRS or similar)

  • Familiarity withCognos orHRIS such as UKG

Location & Work Model

Hybrid/Remote: in-office at our corporate headquarters in McLean, VA.
