We are looking for an SR. MANAGER, PROCUREMENT, MANAGED SERVICES

THE ROLE:

The Sr. Manager of Procurement, Managed Services leads the development and execution of procurement strategies, drives contract negotiations, and oversees riskmitigation and stakeholder alignment. Leveraging the Category Management Process, the role delivers valuefocused strategies while ensuring effective supplier performance and compliance. The Sr. Manager maintains a strong Supplier Relationship Management program for the Global Capabilities Center (GCC), ensuring productive collaboration, formal governance, changeorder control, and performance metrics that meet Hershey standards. This leader also partners closely with internal stakeholders, including the GCC Governance team, to support a seamless and wellmanaged contractual relationship.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES / OUTCOMES EXPECTED:



  • Develop and Execute Procurement Strategies: Formulate and implement effective procurement strategies for managed services categories that align with company goals and market trends. This includes managing the end-to-end sourcing process to ensure top-line and bottom-line value creation.
  • Supplier Relationship Management (SRM): responsible for the SRM program development, implementation and ongoing execution / evolution for the primary managed services supplier for the GCC. Build and maintain strong relationships to ensure reliable supply, negotiate favorable terms, and drive continuous improvement. This involves regular performance evaluations and collaboration.
  • Manage key relationships, if applicable, with other Suppliers that integrate with the GCC Supplier
  • Working with the Hershey GCC governance leads, collect and standardize all performance data from the GCC Supplier enabling governance and contractual management and compliance .
  • As part of the contractual governance structure serve as point of contact for any escalation discussions regarding relationship issues, vendor SLA changes/updates, or process improvements plans, either as a part of incident management or to increase efficiency
  • Lead the commercial and contracting workstream working with the Director, Indirect Procurement for the GCC Future Roadmap
  • Provide detailed financial analysis working with the Hershey Finance Team with a firm understanding of the commercial standards within the GCC Contract



KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:



  • Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Expertise: Demonstrated ability to develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with organizational goals. This includes negotiating complex contracts and managing supplier performance to drive value and innovation.
  • Analytical and Financial Acumen: Strong analytical skills to evaluate market data, pricing trends, and total cost of ownership. Ability to use financial models to assess cost-saving opportunities and make data-driven decisions.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Proven experience in building and maintaining effective relationships with suppliers. Skills in negotiating terms, managing performance, and collaborating on continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with diverse teams across the organization. Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate communication, resolve conflicts, and achieve collaborative outcomes.
  • Risk Management and Compliance: Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices applicable to the categories managed. Proficiency in identifying and mitigating risks to ensure compliance and minimize disruptions.



EXPERIENCE and EDUCATION:



  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
  • An MBA or advanced degree is preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in indirect procurement, direct procurement or supply chain management within the consumer packaged goods industry. Preferred but not required 2+ years within a shared / managed service organization
  • Proven track record in managing complex sourcing projects, supplier relationships and cost management initiatives.
  • Extensive Experience with Project Management
