Manufacturing Engineer - Automotive Interior Systems Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour Schedule: Newark, CA Join a world-class engineering team developing innovative interior components and systems for high-end electric vehicles. This Manufacturing Engineer role is ideal for professionals with experience in automotive interior systems, CAD design, and vehicle launch support who thrive in fast-paced, cutting-edge environments. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with design, marketing, engineering, and suppliers to develop, package, release, and launch premium interior systems focused on performance, safety, ergonomics, and craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities: Lead development of interior components including IP, doors, consoles, headliners, and trim systems Support engineering, packaging, and product release through full vehicle launch Create 2D/3D CAD models and packaging layouts (CATIA V5/V6 preferred) Conduct DFM analysis and ensure GD&T compliance Partner with suppliers to ensure technical accuracy and on-time delivery Drive innovation and continuous improvement from concept to production Qualifications: 4+ years in automotive interior systems development Strong CAD proficiency (CATIA preferred) Experience with plastics, injection molding, and manufacturing processes Full product lifecycle experience (concept through production) Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Why Apply?
