Expediter - Rotable Team - 2993

The Rotable Team Expediter is responsible for but not limited to working with the rotable team to complete required tasks. Some tasks required are completing orders, receives and recording rotable equipment for the Avionics & Accy Rotable Managers. In addition, this position generates reports that assist in determining stock needs for Rotable, MRI and Consignment inventories. Researches and assists the Rotable Managers with systems components, parts and equipment inventory issues.

Essential Job Functions

1. Maintain a database of information to assist the Rotable Managers in buying, selling and pricing of components. Forecasts, monitors, tracks and follows-up on rotable parts that are needed for in-process and future stock, both new and replacement to ensure necessary units are received when needed. Communicates with rotable managers to determine what units are on order for required stock.
2. Reviews past projects to determine rotables needed to complete stock requirements and proceeds with ordering and stocking these units to meet peak demands.
   
   
3. Coordinates with Rotable Managers to close open purchase orders. Follows established Duncan Aviation best practices to ensure all work order components are correct.
   
   
4. Maintains a high level of communication with the Rotable Managers and core recovery team, sales, production, material services, and other internal and external customers to resolve parts issues. Recommends updates and revisions to enhance and streamline the inventory computer systems and user features.
   
   
5. Assist with AOG situations by providing options such as exchange, outright, as-removed or core units/parts to meet the customer's immediate need.
   
   
6. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

• Physical: Routinely lifts 50 lbs.; reads small print; repetitive motion; tolerates standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching and sitting

Education and Experience

• High school graduate or equivalent required
• One-year Rotable or Sales experience or a two years parts experience or equivalent required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.)
