We are seeking aCertified Occupational TherapistAssistant (OTA)in theDFWarea. Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants (COTA) earn up to $50 per hour, with the pay structure at $12.50 per unit for up to 4 units per hour. Position Details The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant will work in a Pediatric Home Health setting provides coordinated occupational therapy to pediatric patients of various ages in the home setting. Under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Essential functions: Design and administer the therapy treatment plan as developed by the Therapist Supervisor. Applies concepts of infection control and universal precautions in coordinating/performing patient care activities to prevent contamination and transmission of disease. Accept clinical assignments that are consistent with education and competence to care for patients. Uses effective interpersonal relations and communication skills; facilitates the use of these skills by other team members to achieve desirable outcomes. Meets mandatory continuing education requirements of the agency/licensing board. Demonstrates commitment, professional growth, and competency.
