FTE: 0.9, Shift: Night, Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts *** $5,000 SIGN ON BONUS with 24-month commitment, for those who meet eligibility requirements. *** Location: Mary Bridge Children's Safe and Sound Building - MultiCare Position Summary The Polysomnographic Technologist/Scorer is responsible for the safe operation of sophisticated medical equipment to record sleep/wake physiology and performing diagnostic and therapeutic polysomnography in accordance with physician orders and organizational policies and procedures.This is a technical position functioning independently with limited supervision. Work situations require extensive knowledge and the application of advanced expertise in the field of sleep disorders, and sound clinical judgements, actions, and decision making regarding unusual patient behavior, i.e. seizure activity, life threatening cardiac and respiratory abnormalities. Internal contacts are basically within the work group but may include patient care staff and management throughout the Medical Center. This position has external contacts with physicians as well as extensive direct patient care and patient contact on a daily basis. Requirements

However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
