Cone Health is seeking a detail oriented Summer Intern to assist with converting physical paper files into organized digital records. This intern will support our team by scanning, indexing, and entering data into secure electronic systems, helping improve record accessibility and reduce paper storage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scan, organize, and digitize paper documents following established procedures.
  • Accurately enter data into electronic databases and document management systems.
  • Support various administrative tasks such as file organization and conversion from physical to electronic files/data.
  • Verify data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA and Cone Health privacy standards.
  • Organize and label digital files for efficient retrieval.
  • Assist with other general office and administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or current high school/college enrollment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, scanning software).
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with data entry or document scanning.
  • Familiarity with digital filing systems.
  • Training will be provided on all systems and procedures.

Education

  • Required: Must be in process of a college-level degree in a related field and a student in good standing.Applicants must be at least the age of 16 to be employed as Cone Health High School-level interns (work-authorization required).
