Overview

This is a 2nd shift opening - M-F 2:00pm-10:30pm. 10% Shift Differential for working 2nd shift


Duties and Responsibilities


  • Responsible for preparing material for domestic and international transportation.
  • Prepare, and review customer orders to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Deliver all incoming packages to appropriate individual in both buildings and obtain signatures, when required.
  • Process domestic shipments utilizing online carrier systems.
  • Complete deliveries by driving truck or van within company grounds
  • Operate a variety of warehouse equipment and vehicles; utilize a variety of hand tools as required; keep management informed of the condition of warehouse equipment.
  • Verify all materials are stored in proper locations to avoid accidents, errors or damage to product.
  • Responsible for the accurate and timely preparation, processing and reconciliation of all paperwork required to locate and identify material.
  • Assist in the transfer of materials in accordance with status, shop orders, and all warehouse moves to facilitate inventory control.
  • Participate in warehouse cycle counting procedure
  • Enter material purchased on Purchased Orders into Great Plains and provide required copies to other departments.
  • Correct and reconcile discrepancies to assure workflow meets established deadlines.
  • Process incoming and outgoing products to and from, racks, bins, and floor locations according to SOP's.
  • Write SOP's as required and advise when revisions may be needed.
  • Responsible for observing all Company, Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines.
  • Assure work area is kept neat clean and orderly.



Qualifications:




  • HS/GED Diploma with 3-5 years of related experience with certification in assigned area required or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • 5-7 years of related experience and certification in assigned area preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Forklift operator skills required
  • IATA/DOT shipping experience
  • Knowledge of International shipping requirements
  • HAZWOPER training
  • The ability to effectively use PC software applications, such as MS Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.




Pay Range: $25.00 - $37.50 per hour
