Description Seeking a hands-on Electronics Technician with strong troubleshooting abilities and a passion for solving complex technical challenges. This role supports test laboratories, maintains automatic test equipment, and works closely with engineers to ensure missioncritical systems operate reliably. Ideal candidates are selfstarters who enjoy working with oscilloscopes, soldering irons, and advanced diagnostic tools in a technical, fastpaced environment. Key Responsibilities * Diagnose and resolve issues with automatic test equipment and electronic control systems * Respond to problem reports from engineering teams and restore systems to operational status * Perform preventative maintenance and support oneoff engineering and development projects * Read and interpret electrical schematics; troubleshoot electronic circuits and communication buses * Collaborate with crossfunctional team members on complex hardware and software integration tasks * Utilize diagnostic tools (oscilloscopes, bus monitors, voltmeters) and perform soldering as needed * Participate in design, build, and prototype activities for specialized technical equipment Skills networking, troubleshooting, diagnostic testing, XML configuration & parsing, handson experience, read and interpret technical schematics Top Skills Details networking, troubleshooting, diagnostic testing, XML configuration & parsing, handson experience, read and interpret technical schematics Additional Skills & Qualifications Required Qualifications * Education: Associate's degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or a related field (Computer Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Broadcast Engineering, or similar) * Experience: Minimum 2 years of handson technical experience in electronics, networking, or a related discipline * Ability to read schematics and identify electronic components (resistors, diodes, transistors) * Familiarity with diagnostic tools and basic soldering techniques * U.S. Citizenship required due to government security requirements Preferred Attributes * Strong mechanical aptitude and handson DIY mindset (comfort with home or automotive projects) * Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to quickly learn new technologies * Teamoriented with the flexibility to handle both routine tasks and complex technical challenges * Comfortable working in a fastpaced environment with minimal bureaucracy * Ability to adapt to clientdriven processes while maintaining high technical standards Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Cincinnati, OH.
