As an Armed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a strong visible presence, and help identify and report security-related concerns. You will support access control and respond to incidents with calm, clear communication while delivering customer-focused service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or local emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Operate as an armed patrol officer in accordance with Allied Universal training and post orders, including maintaining required licensing, following all weapons handling protocols, and applying use of force guidelines when necessary.
  • Control access at gates and/or designated entry points, verify identification and visitor logs, monitor CCTV and alarm systems, and complete detailed reports for security-related incidents and unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 1+ years' armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Have an armed guard card and/or license.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
