Data Integration Engineer
What you will be doing: Our company is seeking a Data Integration Engineer to join our team. As a Data Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting with the conversion of data from various source ERP, Budgeting, HR/Payroll, and Statistical tracking systems. This includes running previously developed SQL scripts to validate and troubleshoot the data being converted. Assist with the implementation of federated and non-federated SSO. Assist with troubleshooting data in Google Big Query, and support various team members with the setup and install of new product features/modules.
Additional Responsibilities: * Understanding of databases, SQL, XML, Google BigQuery, and data integration tools * Familiarity with data automation, mining, and integration tools * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Basic knowledge of software development methodologies and project management practices * Willingness to learn new technical skills and adapt to changing technologies * Basic capabilities using BI tools like Tableau or Power BI to visually analyze data * Participate in Premier initiatives to advance or improve the business Requires the following critical skills for success: * Communicate effectively through various channels such as email, chat, phone, or video conferencing to collaborate effectively with team members and convey information and ideas clearly and concisely. * Even though remote work is often done independently, workers must be able to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients to achieve common goals. * Highly organized and able to manage their workload effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines Key Responsibilities Responsibility #1- 90%
- Assist lead data conversion specialists with validating data and consolidating feedback for customer communication.1.
- Ability to develop basic SQL Scripts; Review, execute and troubleshoot more complex SQL scripts and SSIS packages previously developed by technical project leads.
- Update and maintain standard library of SQL scripts
- Document new processes / procedures
- Investigate and troubleshoot basic data conversion problems/issues and assist in resolving critical customer problems during implementation.
- Support implementation of federated and non-federated SSO, including bulk setup/provisioning for users within the ERP platform.
- Assist SDM and Technical project leads on various tasks throughout the implementation project. Such as: capture meeting minutes, provide project updates to PM, data validation, user provisioning, etc.
- Complete administrative tasks as assigned.
- Communicate any changes in project plans and timelines.
- Assist customer support team with cases to provide solutions to data problems.
- Support basic service requests, which includes providing hours estimates and basic SQL script development, from ERP Platform customers.
- Develop XML code to parse data

Experience:
Basic experience with Big Data Analytics/Data Warehousing technology (Google Big Query, Azure SQL Data Warehouse Synapse, Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Hadoop) Basic networking infrastructure and troubleshooting hardware/application issues Ability to develop SQL Scripts, SSIS packages, XML code, BigQuery scripts, review and troubleshoot more complex SQL scripts. Basic knowledge of hospital financial / supply chain systems, financial decision support systems and HR/payroll systems.

Premier's compensation philosophy is to ensure that compensation is reasonable, equitable, and competitive in order to attract and retain talented and highly skilled employees. Premier's internal salary range for this role is $62,000 - $93,000. Final salary is dependent upon several market factors including, but not limited to, departmental budgets, internal equity, education, unique skills/experience, and geographic location. Premier utilizes a wide-range salary structure to allow base salary flexibility within our ranges.
