Koch Engineered Solutions (KES) is seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst to join our Information Technology (IT) team supporting strategic priorities in our Equipment, Technology, and Services (ET&S) businesses. The IT team is a vital component in KES' strategy to improve business performance through technical innovation and profitable transformation. Our team functions as a startup entity within our enterprise to develop innovative solutions and build a market for their solutions through transforming KES work processes.

As a Business Analyst on the IT Process Delivery Team, you will thrive in a fast-paced and innovative environment supporting our engineering, commercial, manufacturing and supply chain functions. What You Will Do in Your Role

  • Serve as a liaison between business units, IT, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on assigned initiatives. Prepare clear documentation, reports, and presentations for diverse audiences.
  • Map, document, and evaluate current processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities. Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews to gather requirements and pain points.
  • Plan, coordinate and manage IT projects aligned with ET&S strategic priorities. Track milestones, risks, and deliverables to ensure timely and quality results.
  • Engage stakeholders in adopting process improvements. Develop and execute communication plans, and monitor impact.
  • Use data analysis tools to assess process metrics and track KPIs, identify root causes, and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Utilize process modeling software (e.g., Visio), project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Azure DevOps), and data analytics platforms (e.g., Excel, Tableau).

Who You Are Basic Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in business process analysis, mapping, and documentation
  • Strong project management skills with ability to manage timelines and deliverables
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with diverse stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of change management principles
  • Proficiency with process modeling, project management, and data visualization software
  • Ability to lead and facilitate cross-functional teams to drive results

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Proficiency or experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement frameworks to optimize process performance.
  • Advanced knowledge of process improvement and re-engineering techniques
  • Experience performing cost-benefit analyses and delivering presentations and training
  • Capacity to influence and advise on complex issues across diverse disciplines
  • Demonstrated ability to work with ambiguity and apply sound judgment in selecting methods and solutions
