Responsibilities:

Presbyterian Healthcare Services is looking for a Medical Equipment Repair Technicianto assist in the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of telemetry, wearables, video monitoring devices, point-of-care testing, and medical lifts.

Some key responsibilities include:

• Responds timely to direct patient care staff requests for assistance with patient care technology and equipment.
• Operates and troubleshoots patient care technology and equipment
• Appropriately cleans, maintains, and stores patient care technology
• Completes red tag process and transports/reports broken, nonfunctioning, or malfunctioning equipment to BioMed or other department as appropriate such as laboratory or desk top support.
• Appropriately transports and stores oxygen cylinders.
• Maintain compliance with Manufactures Instructions for Use (MIFUs) in One Source system

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• BLS required
• Ability to learn and demonstrate competency in proper and safe handling and maintenance of patient care technologies and equipment.
• Must successfully complete competency verification before starting on assigned unit.
