Rochester Institute of Technology Packaging Engineering Co-op

*Must be a current student at the Rochester Institute of Technology*

GENERAL SUMMARY:

The intent of this position, is to:

1) offer opportunities to potential Packaging Engineers to pursue their major course of study in an engaging and experience driven job co-op.,

2) Allow CRAYOLA the opportunity to build out a talent pool of future Packaging Engineers.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Assist in the design and development of packaging structures.
  • Aid in cost savings projects.
  • Develop packaging component specifications
  • Aid in the development of sample cartons and prototype packaging



JOB SPECIFICATIONS:



  • Proficient in Artios, SolidWorks, 3D Printing Hardware and Software
  • Familiarity with various paperboard and corrugated materials, as well as, sample cutting tables, and vacuum forming equipment
  • Knowledgeable of basic Microsoft Office software
  • Knowledge of SAP data management software
  • Currently enrolled within a Packaging related college major course of study
