Security Officer - Armed Military Distribution Center

As a Security Officer - Armed Civic Patrol in French Camp, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal at a government location where you will conduct routine armed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to incidents with calm, professional communication. You will support access control, observe and report unusual activity, and deliver customer service to visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and post orders within a government location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter points as directed by the site plan.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services and/or site leadership when needed.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or authorized access credentials, and help to control the flow of people, vehicles, and deliveries.
• Complete required security-related reports and logs, document unusual activity, and communicate observations to Allied Universal management and authorized site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1+ years' armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Have an armed guard card and/or license.
• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be able to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
